Up with People exists to empower young people to be positive agents of change through music and action. Participants from 20 countries will travel to Sacramento from March 18-25, live with local host families for a true cultural immersion experience, and spend approximately 1,000 hours working on volunteer projects with local schools and the Boys & Girls Club. At the Club, cast projects include:

Facilitating leadership and cross-cultural communication workshops for Club teens
Sharing their cultures through an international Culture Fair
Helping to bring our new drama and music room to life at the Teichert Branch

The advance team of Up with People is currently in town, looking for host families to house these 100 dynamic young people from 20 countries during their visit and create a space for cultural exchange. While families share their traditions and local attractions, the cast members share their experiences and cultures.
