Woodland Branch

Woodland Branch - We are open!!!!

An astronaut. A teacher. An all-star athlete. If kids can dream it, the Boys & Girls Club can help them achieve it. And our beautiful new Woodland Branch is a perfect place to build Great Futures!

In 2021, a dedicated Woodland resident, passionate about serving Woodland youth and families, approached the Club with a request, a vision, and a plan to build a long-desired space for youth and teens–a Boys & Girls Club. With our donor’s commitment to guide and champion the project through completion, and with the support of the City of Woodland, Yolo County, Boys & Girls Club’s Board, and the community, the Woodland Branch is now open to serving youth ages 6-18 years old.

Featuring both an elementary and teen wing, the 25,000 sq. foot facility is a place for youth to get help with homework, play sports, develop 21st Century skills, and make friends. It’s a place to be themselves.

I wanted to create a place for youth to feel like they belong, like I did as a kid, within the walls of this Club. ─ Anonymous

Building Great Futures

Like our Clubhouses throughout the Greater Sacramento Region and Stockton, our Woodland Branch serves the youth who need a place to learn, play, and realize their full potential. Even the most promising and motivated young people growing up in the communities we serve face an uphill battle to overcome deeply rooted generational poverty. The Boys & Girls Club is excited to be a part of a conscious and concerted community-wide effort alongside educators, law enforcement, and City and County leaders to support its most precious asset – its young people.
